As part of our pathway “Med Youth on Track,” Dr. Yasmeen Aladdin, Elected Co-President of MYF, along with Ms. Mavie Ihab and Ms. Lisa Mastrolia, alumni of our MYF Paid Internship Program, headed to Rome, Italy, to take part in the project “Youth Will Be Free.” This project is funded by the European Union within Erasmus + Programme – Key Action 2: Capacity Building in the Field of Youth, and will take place from May 18 to 21, 2025.

As part of our pathway “Med Youth on Track,” Dr. Yasmeen Aladdin, Elected Co-President of MYF, along with Ms. Mavie Ihab and Ms. Lisa Mastrolia, alumni of our MYF Paid Internship Program, headed to Rome, Italy, to take part in the project “Youth Will Be Free.” This project is funded by the European Union within Erasmus + Programme – Key Action 2: Capacity Building in the Field of Youth, and will take place from May 18 to 21, 2025.

The project aims at improving the quality of Youth Work in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region and transform it into a powerful tool for promoting social responsibility for among young people at risk of offending. It seeks to open up new professional horizons in the fields of community and youth work, and to improve access to decent jobs. The project gathers participants from Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Malta, Greece, North Macedonia, Syria, and Tunisia.

We wish our representatives the best of luck and look forward to their return, enriched with experiences and ideas that will contribute to empowering the youth of our region.
