A delegation from the “Mediterranean Youth Foundation for Development” is now heading to Cyprus as part of a group of participating countries including Germany, Armenia, Romania, and Cyprus. This is to participate in the cultural exchange program “Enhancing Women’s Empowerment” hosted by the “Dione Youth Association” in Larnaca from March 20 to March 28, 2024.

The program aims to reduce the gender gap in professional fields, increase awareness of discrimination against women in the labor market, also enhance knowledge of women’s empowerment, and entrepreneurial skills for young male and female workers, and encourage communication among women.

The project provides young workers, both male and female, with the opportunity to expand their understanding and capabilities in identifying gender gaps, in addition to acquiring skills and abilities related to female entrepreneurship. These experiences empower women in their communities to enhance their lives and enable them in the desired manner in the region.

يتوجه الآن وفد من “مؤسسة شباب المتوسط للتنمية” إلى دولة قبرص؛ ضمن مجموعة من الدول المشاركة ألمانيا وأرمينيا ورومانيا وقبرص؛ وذلك للمشاركة في برنامج التبادل الثقافي ” تعزيز تمكين المرأة” والذي تستضيفه منظمة “Dione Youth Association” بمدينة “لارنكا” في الفترة من 20 مارس حتى 28 مارس 2024.

يهدف البرنامج إلى تقليل الفجوة بين الجنسين في المجالات المهنية، و زيادة الوعي حول التمييز ضد النساء في سوق العمل، أيضًا زيادة المعرفة بتمكين المرأة، ومهارات ريادة الأعمال للعاملين/ات الشباب والشابات، وتشجيع التواصل بين النساء.

يوفر المشروع للعاملين/ات الشباب والشابات فرصة لتوسيع فهمهم/ن وقدراتهم/ن في التعرف على الفجوات بين الجنسين، بالإضافة إلى اكتسابهم/ن مهارات وقدرات تتعلق بريادة الأعمال النسائية.
تمكن هذه الخبرات النساء في مجتمعاتهن، للوصول لتعزيز حياتهن وتمكينهن بالشكل المرجو في المنطقة.
