As part of our pathway “Med Youth on Track,” Mr. Alaa Motawea, Member of the Board
of Trustees at MYF, and Responsible for International Partnerships, headed to participate in the
“Partnerships Beyond Borders” program, which will take place in the city of Durrës, Albania, from May 19 to 23, 2025.

This program is part of the long-term strategic partnership “Beyond Borders,” which brings together
the various national agencies of the Erasmus+ youth program, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC),
as well as the regional SALTO Resource Centers. The aim of this cooperation is to highlight and enhance
collaboration between the program countries and neighboring partner countries. The program will be hosted by
the Beyond Barriers Association.

The program aims to support the building of effective international partnerships between youth organizations
from Europe and neighboring countries, develop sustainable youth projects, and enhance cooperation and cultural
dialogue across different contexts.

This participation represents a new step towards enhancing the regional and international presence of the Mediterranean
Youth Foundation, and opening new horizons for collaboration that support youth empowerment and the building
of a more united and diverse shared future. This comes with the participation of a wide range of countries,
including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Moldova, Finland, Georgia, Egypt, Poland, Albania,
Tunisia, Montenegro, Lithuania, Lebanon, Turkey, Iceland, Ukraine, Spain, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, and Belgium.
