In a fruitful meeting between representatives of the Mediterranean Youth Foundation and leaders from the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity, held at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, the meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Ayman Abdel Mawgoud, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Civil Work Institutions; Ms. Hend Abdel-Zaher, Director General of the General Administration of Foreign Organizations and Foreign Funding; and Ms. Hana Al-Zidi, Director General of the General Administration for Volunteering and Community Assistance.

During the meeting, the foundation presented its current projects and future plans, and discussed ways for the ministry to support these initiatives. The strategic project “The International Program for Volunteering in Egypt”, which aims to promote international volunteerism and make Egypt a leading destination for voluntary tourism, was also highlighted as one of the latest trends in global tourism.
