Mr. Abdelhalim Mohamed, the Executive Director of the Mediterranean Youth Foundation, is heading to the Republic of Slovenia to participate in the “Contemporary Challenges of Working with At-Risk Youth” conference, which is conducted under the auspices of the European Commission from June 6 to 9, 2024, in the city of Radenci.
The conference brings together representatives from 30 youth organizations from 28 countries to exchange experiences among professionals and present examples of new working methods and best practices for working with youth, particularly in topics such as mental health, innovative approaches in arts and sports, which are applied in working with at-risk youth.
The conference focuses on approaches that can provide at-risk youth with support tailored to their needs, enhance their social and educational competencies, and empower them to overcome personal difficulties and challenges.
