Nada Fayed will participate in an international seminar in Italy titled “Participation of Young Women in Civic and Local Governance,” organized by the Italian National Agency in collaboration with SALTO EuroMed. The seminar will be held in the Italian city of Vicenza and aims to discuss the challenges young women face when striving to engage effectively in their communities, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices in this field.
The seminar comes as a follow-up to two previous activities, including the seminar “Engagement of Women in Politics and Entrepreneurship,” which was held in Beirut in collaboration with the GIZ LEAD program, and the seminar “Young Women Active in Their Communities,” which took place in Tunisia.
We look forward to Nada representing Egypt and contributing her expertise to enhance the role of young women in local governance and community participation!

تتوجه ندى فايد -مديرة البحث والمناصرة بمؤسسة شباب المتوسط، لمدينة فيسينزا الإيطالية، للمشاركة في ندوة دولية بعنوان “مشاركة الشابات في الحكم المحلي والمدني” والتي تنظمها الوكالة الوطنية الإيطالية بالتعاون مع SALTO EuroMed، وذلك في الفترة من ٢٢ أكتوبر حتى ٢٦ أكتوبر ٢٠٢٤
تهدف الندوة إلى مناقشة التحديات التي تواجه الشابات عند سعيهن للمشاركة بفاعلية في مجتمعاتهن، وتوفر فرصة لتبادل الخبرات وأفضل الممارسات في هذا المجال.
تأتي الندوة كمتابعة لنشاطين سابقين، هما ندوة “مشاركة النساء في السياسة وريادة الأعمال” التي أُقيمت في بيروت بالتعاون مع برنامج GIZ LEAD، وندوة “الشابات الناشطات في مجتمعاتهن” التي أُقيمت في تونس.
نتطلع إلى تمثيل مشرف، تستطيع من خلاله ندى المساهمة بخبراتها في تعزيز دور الشابات في الحكم المحلي والمشاركة المجتمعية.
