Statement by the Mediterranean Youth Foundation on the Prevention of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

The Mediterranean Youth Foundation strongly condemns Israel’s decision to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, accompanied by military escalation that blatantly violates the ceasefire, further exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe endured by civilians under ongoing siege and destruction.

Denying people access to food and medicine and setting their properties on fire constitutes a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws, putting thousands of families at risk of starvation and death. These violations hinder any efforts toward peace and stability.

The Mediterranean Youth Foundation urgently calls for the full, safe, and unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid. We also emphasize the necessity of enabling relief workers and international organizations to carry out their missions freely to save innocent lives.
