كلمة يوسف عروج، الرئيس المشارك لمؤسسة الشباب في مؤتمر “إذا كانت الحرب خيارًا، فالسلام يمكن أن يكون خيارًا أيضًا” حول مساهمة القادة الشباب في السلام والأمن في الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك والذي نظمته هيئة الأمم المتحدة لتحالف الحضارات، وبعثة إيطاليا، وبعثة كوستاريكا، وبعثة موناكو، وبعثة الفاتيكان الدائمين لدى الأمم المتحدة.
وهذا أبرز ما جاء فيها:
– كان من الممكن أن أكون ضحية الإرهاب إذا لم أتمكن من الحصول على التعليم الجيد والوصول إلى منصة تعزز قدراتي.
– ألهمني حدث توقيع وثيقة الأخوة الإنسانية في أبوظبي وتأثرت بمشهد مصافحة الإمام الأكبر شيخ الأزهر وقداسة بابا الفاتيكان، وبعدها قررت المساهمة في نشر هذه الوثيقة وإجراء أول حوار شبابي في العالم حولها فكان مشروع”حوار حول وثيقة الأخوة الإنسانية”.
– فرص التعليم في مجال بناء السلام يجب أن تكون متاحة لكل فرد في هذا العالم.
