Art is the fastest way to engage emotions, playing a crucial role in shaping awareness and guiding feelings. Through art, ideas are conveyed, and issues of all kinds—whether cultural or social—are discussed. Therefore, we’re seeking your valuable insights as activists, civil society workers, and those passionate about women’s rights and empowerment to help us study the impact of commercial gender-based films, which hinder women’s empowerment in the Euro-Mediterranean region. By participating in this survey, you will contribute to a deeper understanding of how women are portrayed in these films and how distorted depictions with stereotypical images in cinema can affect their empowerment. This survey is conducted for research purposes, carried out by the Mediterranean Youth Foundation in collaboration with the Anna Lindh Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue as part of the “Knowledge for Action” Program. We appreciate your time and support for this important issue! That’s why we have decided to offer a free virtual training on “Networking Skills” to everyone who takes the time to share their opinions by completing the survey. الفن هو أسرع وسيلة تخاطب الوجدان، ويساهم في تشكيل الوعي وتوجيه المشاعر؛ فمن خلاله تطرح الأفكار وتناقش القضايا بأنواعها المختلفة، سواء كانت ثقافية أو اجتماعية.
لذلك نحن نبحث عن آراءكم/ن القيمة كناشطين/ات وعاملين/ات بالمجتمع المدني، وكمهتمين/ات بحقوق المرأة وتمكينها؛ لمساعدتنا في دراسة تأثير الأفلام التجارية القائمة على النوع الاجتماعي، والتي تعيق تمكين المرأة في المنطقة الأورومتوسطية.
من خلال مشاركتكم/ن في هذا الاستبيان، ستساهمون/ن في فهم أعمق لصور المرأة في هذه الأفلام، وكيف تؤثر السينما المشوهة، بتلك الصور النمطية على تمكينها.
هذا الاستبيان لأغراض البحث العلمي، والذي تقوم بتنفيذه مؤسسة شباب المتوسط بالتعاون مع مؤسسة آنا ليند للحوار بين الثقافات، ضمن برنامج المعرفة من أجل العمل “Knowledge for Action”
