We are sharing with you the activities of the visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, which was attended by a delegation from the Mediterranean Youth Foundation, in the “Prevention of Violent Extremism” program – the second edition, hosted by the COPENHAGEN Foundation “YOUTH NETWORK” with the participation of a number of young people from the Euro-Mediterranean countries.

**On the first day, the delegation arrived and was received and the introduction began. The second day began with an icebreaker team-building activity where each team was supposed to do challenges such as: going to a park and taking a picture with foreigners, going to the market and filming a video with the street. As for the second part of the day, there was an informational session to summarize the key concepts of the first phase of the program such as extremism versus the far right, the push and pull factors that drive someone to become a terrorist, and refuting them as individual factors, group factors, external factors, the acceleration of time, conspiracy theories, media propaganda, and far-right narratives.

On the third day, each delegation presented two case studies of a terrorist attack that occurred in their country and discussed the motives of the perpetrators, the driving and pulling factors, and the social reactions that the cases provoked. The fourth day was about sessions on Islamic narratives and propaganda. The fifth and sixth days were free time for trips.

As for the seventh day, it began with case studies on cumulative escalation, which included the statement written by Bin Laden to the US government, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s message to the mujahideen, and Payton Gendron. While the second part was a cultural exchange night. The eighth day is the closing day and the return home safely.

Our programs continue and never end, so until we meet again, with a new program in another country.
