As part of the Interreg NEXT MED session, Youssef Aroog, the Elected Co-President of the Mediterranean Youth Foundation, presents his vision on the challenges faced by youth in the Mediterranean region, focusing on climate mobility and active participation in environmental issues and sustainable development.
In his speech, Youssef Aroog highlights the importance of involving youth in decision-making related to climate and sustainable development issues, emphasizing the role of youth organizations in raising environmental awareness and fostering active participation in environmental projects across the Mediterranean. He also sheds light on the importance of enhancing cooperation between countries and local communities to develop effective strategies aimed at addressing shared climate challenges.
The session focuses on the importance of empowering youth to be part of the future solutions to climate change and how to create a positive impact through sustainable collaboration between various local and international actors.

في إطار فعاليات جلسة Interreg NEXT MED، يقدم يوسف عروج، الرئيس المشارك لمؤسسة شباب المتوسط، رؤيته حول التحديات التي يواجهها الشباب/ات في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط، مع التركيز على التنقل المناخي والمشاركة الفاعلة في قضايا البيئة والتنمية المستدامة.
يتناول يوسف عروج في حديثه أهمية إشراك الشباب/ات في صنع القرار المتعلق بقضايا المناخ والتنمية المستدامة، مبرزًا دور المنظمات الشبابية في رفع الوعي البيئي وتعزيز المشاركة الفعّالة في المشاريع البيئية عبر البحر الأبيض المتوسط. كما يسلط الضوء على أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين البلدان والمجتمعات المحلية لتطوير استراتيجيات فاعلة تهدف إلى مواجهة التحديات المناخية المشتركة.
