Building on a Legacy of Impact

The fourth edition builds upon the rich experiences of its predecessors, continuing a journey of youth empowerment across the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Following successful editions in Cairo, Alexandria, and Barcelona, the Mediterranean Youth Academy (MYA) has garnered significant recognition. Under the patronage of the Egyptian Prime Minister, previous editions focused on critical areas like climate action, gender equality, human rights, and youth employment, bringing young leaders together to foster dialogue and build essential skills.

The 4th Edition: Vision & Themes

Hosted in Nice, France from November 13-17, 2025, this edition seeks to prepare 70-80 young leaders to tackle the region's most pressing challenges.

Your Role & Key Outcomes

During the workshops, participants will be stimulated to identify key policy recommendations and propose youth-led initiatives.

Develop solutions and strengthen your role as an agent of change.
Share experiences and collaborate with peers across the region.
Contribute to the "Initiatives for the Mediterranean" guidebook.

Building on successful editions in Cairo, Alexandria, and Barcelona, the Mediterranean Youth Academy (MYA) operates under the patronage of the Egyptian Prime Minister. Our journey is powered by a robust coalition of partners dedicated to youth empowerment across the region.


Our core purpose is to leverage non-formal education as a transformative tool, equipping Mediterranean youth with the critical skills needed to address regional challenges and empowering them to become influential voices in policy-making.

Objectives of the 4th Edition

After three successful editions, the MYA arrives in Nice, France, with a focused, action-oriented agenda co-organized by key regional players.

This edition will be a four-day training program designed to enhance participant skills and facilitate their active role in decision-making across three specific thematic clusters:

Engage & Recommend

Engage up to 70-80 young people in proposing concrete recommendations to policymakers on the key topics discussed during the workshops.

Facilitate Initiatives

Facilitate the identification of 2-3 youth-related initiatives or policy papers to emerge from the workshops, which will receive implementation support from MYF.

03

Contribute to Knowledge

Contribute to the drafting of the “Initiatives for the Mediterranean” guidebook, providing insights on how youth-led initiatives can address regional issues.
