2. The objectives of this call

This hiring Program is a valuable opportunity for individuals to join MYF and contribute to
regional and international projects in the Euro-Mediterranean region. The main objectives of
this call are as follows:

1. Communication Officer

1. Communication Officer
Reports to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement communication strategies to promote MYF's mission and
projects.
● Manage MYF's digital and social media platforms, including content creation and
engagement.
● Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all
channels.
● Prepare press releases, articles, and other communication materials for media outreach.
● Monitor media coverage and analyze communication metrics to measure effectiveness.
● Cultivate relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders to enhance MYF's
visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in communication roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
● Strong knowledge of digital media platforms and analytics tools.
● Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and problem-solve.

2. Human Resources Specialist

Reports to the Executive Director
Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational objectives
and legal requirements.
● Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, candidate
screening, and orientation sessions.
● Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management,
and disciplinary actions.
● Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and
employee insurance.
● Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and
competencies.
● Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate HR records and
documentation.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
● Proven experience in HR management roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
● Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Egypt.
● Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

3. Financial Accountant

Reports to the Treasurer
Responsibilities:
● Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger activities.
● Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and
compliance with regulatory requirements.
● Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and
resource allocation.
● Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for financial reporting and
compliance matters.
● Maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial
risks.
● Support grant management and reporting processes, including budget monitoring and
donor reporting.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred.
● Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting roles, preferably in the
nonprofit sector.
● Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants’ age: 25-35
Residency: Open to residents in Egypt (Egyptians and non-Egyptians) living in Cairo and
Giza only. (Evidence should be submitted for shortlisted).

Educational Background:

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field related to the
position they are applying for.

Skills and Competencies:

We are seeking individuals with skills and experience relevant to the position they are
applying for. Proficiency in relevant software/tools is a plus.

Commitment:

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of MYF, as well
as a willingness to actively contribute to projects. Employees are expected to adhere to
the organization's policies and guidelines.

Availability:

Ensure that employees can commit to the required working hours and are available for
training sessions and project involvement as necessary.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred for most positions. Any additional language
skills relevant to the Euro-Mediterranean region are advantageous.
